Abstract
ABSTRACT MOCHHAMMAD BUSYRO NURUL FURQON. 2023: Strategy for Islamic Religious Education Teachers in Fostering Akhlakul Karimah Students at SMP Queen Al-Falah 1 Ploso Mojo Kediri. Islamic Religious Education, Tarbiyah, IAIT Kediri, Supervisor Yasin Nur Falah, M.Pd.I. Keyword: Islamic Religious Education Teachers, Fostering Akhlakul Karimah. As an Islamic religious education teacher, he is given responsibility in the institution to foster the morals of his students so that students behave in accordance with Islamic values and norms. In addition, the teacher must show good character to provide motivation to students at school. The researcher chose SMP Queen Al-Falah 1 Ploso Mojo Kediri as the object of research, because based on information from local residents that the students at SMP Queen Al-Falah 1 Ploso had quite good morals, they were disciplined, and were not inferior to other students in formal education institutions. with an Islamic identity. The focus of the research that will be examined in this study are: (1) What is the strategy of the teacher of the Islamic Religious Education subject in fostering the akhlakul karimah students at SMP Queen Al-Falah 1 Ploso Mojo Kediri? (2) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors of the teacher's strategy for Islamic Religious Education in fostering the akhlakul karimah students at SMP Queen Al-Falah 1 Ploso Mojo Kedir? This research uses a qualitative approach with a study design case. Data analysis was carried out by data reduction, data compilation, and withdrawal conclusion. Checking the validity of the data is done by extension participation, observation persistence, and triangulation. Data collection using interview, observation, and documentation methods. The results of the study, namely: (1) The strategy used by the teacher in fostering akhlakul karimah students at SMP Queen Al-Falah 1 Ploso Mojo Kediri is by learning through exemplary or example methods, lecture methods, advice and punishment methods, discussion methods, and giving methods task. (2) Factors supporting the teacher's strategy for Islamic Religious Education in fostering akhlakul karimah students at SMP Queen Al-Falah 1 Ploso Mojo Kediri, namely by providing religious material, inviting religious leaders to provide spiritual cleansing, providing extracurricular activities, and holding prayers in congregation. While the inhibiting factors include: there are still many students from families who lack religious knowledge, and many boys still play Play Station when students are still studying. Suggestions are: (1) To the head of SMP Queen Al-Falah 1 Ploso Mojo Kediri, he should improve guidance and supervision of students in good behavior. (2) Teachers of Islamic Religious Education and the principal of SMP Queen Al-Falah 1 Ploso Mojo Kediri, should invite all teachers to instill good morals in carrying out their duties and responsibilities as educators.
