Abstract
The curriculum plays a crucial role in the achievement of educational goals. Curriculum implementation involves four fundamental components: objectives, materials, processes, and evaluations. These components form a continuous, interdependent, and synergistic cycle. Beyond the formal curriculum, there exists what is known as the hidden curriculum—an unwritten, undocumented, and unprogrammed aspect of education that significantly influences the attainment of learning objectives. The hidden curriculum is reflected in the values, attitudes, and behaviors implicitly conveyed by teachers and the educational environment. In practice, the curriculum implemented by teachers in the classroom, especially in pursuit of specific learning goals, often includes these hidden elements. Consequently, the role of teachers in delivering and shaping the hidden curriculum is highly significant. In the context of Islamic Religious Education (PAI), the relevance of the hidden curriculum is particularly evident. Islamic Religious Education encompasses the aspects of tawhid (monotheism), sharia (Islamic law), and akhlaq (morality), all of which are deeply intertwined with spiritual values and ethical conduct. These are often transmitted not only through formal instruction but also through the implicit lessons embedded in the teacher's behavior and the school environment. This study employs a qualitative research approach with a case study method. The research was conducted at Al-Anwar High School in Kediri City. The data sources include primary data (obtained directly from interviews and observations) and secondary data (such as books, journals, articles, and previous studies). Data collection techniques consist of interviews, document analysis, and observation. The data were analyzed through a four-stage process: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.
